Tuna.com Fishing Report
May 17th Cod and Haddock
Today we got a later start than usual, leaving the dock around 7 AM. We had 4 persons with 2 coming from France for their first visit to the states. It was a great day with plenty of cod jigging in the morning and then the winds came on strong and it was all over. The cod once again were not as big as last week but keepers anyway.
We then took a short ride to look for haddock, threw the anchor and in about 15 minutes time it was nonstop haddock. Drop and reel fishing once again with lots bull haddock. If you had one on and waited another second you would have a double. The coolers filled up in no time and it was another early ride home with tired customers and coolers full of fillets.
