The All-New Fin-Nor Santiago Big-Game Lever Drag Reels were designed to be the toughest in the world. The 1-Piece Frame and Side-Plate are Forged then Fully Machined out of 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum to keep all internal parts in perfect alignment. Its unique two-speed, push-button and dial release shift system is supported by large, ultra smooth Hybrid-Ceramic Racing Ball Bearings. All parts are coated with Fin-Nor's classic gold anodized corrosion-resistant finish.
All Santiago's feature Solid Aluminum Spools with a Waterproof Multi-Layer Drag System, composed of Twin Carbon-Fiber Drag Washers and a Stainless Steel Drag Plate with automatic alignment. The Sleeved Oversized Stainless-Steel Center Shaft provides absolute free-spooling for precision drop-backs. To compliment the Fin-Nor Santiago's rock solid perfomance is an Ergonomic Power Handle Knob. This special oversized handle has been designed to be comfortable regardless how you hold it, and for as long as you need to hold it. You won't be worried about hand fatigue or sharp, uncomfortable edges that can lead to irritation and blistering... Just focus on the Fish!!
