Penn International Torq Series Star Drag Reels
For nearly a century, Penn reels have been the choice of anglers fighting big fish in big water. The International® Torque™ series of reels carries on Penn's tradition of innovation by using Integrated Side Plate (ISP) technology. ISP technology puts the reel components into one rigid assembly. This enables the reel to achieve super-high drag capabilities with fewer parts and less stress on the reel. That means you can crank up the drag on a big fish without causing any binding to the main or pinion gears. All models have a one-piece, open-top frame. Five stainless steel ball bearings stand up to the rigors of saltwater. Infinite anti-reverse roller bearing. Stainless steel main and pinion gears. Oversized, soft-grip handle reduces fatigue on long days.
