The classic looks have recieved upgrades resulting in a better looking reel. With the increased durability of gold on the crossbar and sideplate and reduced gaps between sideplate and frame, along with a chrome plated brass handle shank, line guard and harness lugs for enhanced durability. The Shimano TLDIIA Series feature Shimano’s famed instant Two-Speed Gearing System.

The Shimano TLD30II is rated for 20-50lb monofilament and is great for Trolling species such as Dorado, Sailfish and School Tunas, this is also a popular light-duty Shark Reel. For increased line strength and capacity anglers opt for 50-80lb Spectra Braid Backing with a Topshot of 50-80lb monofilament.
