Hand-Crafted Custom IGFA Bent Butt Trolling Rods

Our Custom IGFA Bent Butt Trolling Rods are built on gloss black E-Glass blanks and feature Aftco Big-Foot roller guides throughout, paired with detachable aluminum bent butts for easy storage, maintenance and durability. These rods are longer than our stand-up rods and are designed to fight big fish out of a fighting chair or swivel rod holder. All guides are double-under wrapped and double-over wrapped then coated with AFTCO Flex-Coat epoxy for the strongest, longest lasting construction. These are heavy duty rods for big game fishing and are built to match up with today’s high performance big game reels.

• IGFA-80BXRT rods are designed to be matched with 80 size trolling reels, with an 80-130lb line rating. #4 Butts or #6. – Best suited for fishing lighter lines and drag settings.
• IGFA-130BXRT rods are designed to be matched with 130 size trolling reels, with an 130lb-Unlimited line rating. #6 Butts. – Best suited for fishing 200lb test or greater.
• 80/130lb Hybrid rod comes with a #6 butt and is designed to be matched with either an 80 or 130 size trolling reel. With an 80-200lb line rating, this is our best selling rod for Giant Bluefin Tuna and other large fish that requires finesse along with raw brute power. These rods are built longer to help keep the fish away from the boat, plus allows for the softness of an 80lb class rod, with the true lifting power of a 130!
