These custom combos are some of the pairings that we offer with the Penn International VI Series of reels. There are many different sizes to accommodate your fishing needs, whether it will be light tackle with their 12lb class reels or heavy duty setups with their 130lb class reels. The Penn International VI Series is designed and manufactured in the USA, of domestic and imported components. Precision machined from high-strength, lightweight, aircraft grade aluminum in their Philadelphia machining center; Penn has been designing and producing durable, high-quality reels in this facility since 1932.  The VI Series consists of a large stainless steel gear train for strength and speed, and a Dura-Drag system which results in a smoother start up and virtually eliminates hesitation, even under extreme drag settings.

The Fisherman’s Outfitter Custom IGFA Staight Butt Trolling Rods are built on a Gloss Black E-Glass Blank, and feature silver AFTCO roller guides and a detachable silver aluminum straight butt for easy storage and maintenance. This Series of Rods are designed to be fought out of a fighting chair. The lighter 12-30lb models are great for lighter tackle game fish like dorado and smaller tuna, while the 50-130’s are good for marlin, swordfish and larger tuna, etc.

The Fisherman’s Outfitter Custom IGFA Bent Butt Trolling Rods are built on a Gloss Black E-Glass Blank, and features silver AFTCO Big-Foot Series roller guides and a detachable silver aluminum curved butt section for easy storage and maintenance. This rod is designed to fight the largest fish out of a Fighting Chair or Swivel Rod Holder. Combos with these rods are designed to tackle larger species.
