The Shimano Tiagra 2-Speed Lever-Drag Fishing Reels are today’s premier Offshore Trolling Reels. With many models to choose, from the light tackle 16lb Class Ti-16 all the way through to heavy-duty 130lb Class Ti-130A . If you are serious about offshore trolling, the Tiagra is the choice of proffesionals. All Tiagras bodies and spools are constructed from Solid Bar-Stock Aluminum for strength and durability. The gears are all treated high-quality Stainless Steel for years of dependability. All Tiagra’s feature Shimano’s famed 2-speed mechanism which has both gears always engaged for instant transmision from speed to power or vice-versa. For extreme stopping power Shimano has introduced the Hydrothermal Drag System, this eliminates surges in drag pressures during prolonged battles. The Hydrothermal Drag System constantly cools the drag plates as it heats up during battle. This specialized mechanism has not been duplicated by any other company.
Fisherman’s Outfitter Custom I.G.F.A. Staight-Butt Trolling Rods are built on a Gloss Black E-Glass Blank, and feature 7 silver AFTCO Heavy-Duty Series Roller Guides and a detachable silver Aluminum Straight Butt for easy storage and maintenance. This Series of Rods are designed to be fought out of a Fighting Chair or Stand-Up. The lighter 12-30lb models are great for light tackle game fish like Dorado and small Tunas while the 50-130’s are good for Marlin, Swordfish and Large Tunas.
