CUSTOM STUBBIE GIANT TUNA KILLER SHORT STROKE STAND-UP ROD

Fishing stand-up style for monster fish is the ultimate sportfishing and all the rage, do you have it takes to go toe-to-tail with a Giant?

Our Short Stroke, Stubbie Series Rods are capable of landing fish well over 1000lbs. Rated at 80-130lb class, these rods are designed for 30lb Class up 80lb Class Reels.

The Fisherman’s Outfitter Stubbie Rods are built with gloss black, solid fiberglass blank for ultimate lifting power and durability. These rods are designed to lift behemoths from the depths. Whether you’re targeting Giant Tuna or Grander Marlin and record sharks.

Featuring Chrome, AFTCO Wind-On roller guides and Silver Anodized removable aluminum butts. All rods are double under-wrapped and triple over-wrapped. These guides will handle lines from 30lb to Unlimited line class, and they have the same knot clearance as Aftco Big Foot guides, but in a more compact frame. They will easily handle bulky wind-on leaders up to 700-lb. test.

The Fisherman’s Outfitter Series of custom rods are built with black E-glass blanks, silver AFTCO roller guides and Pacific Bay aluminum butts. Our in-stock colors are burgundy under, black over with gold end and center checks; teal under, black over with gold end and center checks; and metallic blue under, black over with red end and center checks. All rods are under double wrapped and double over wrapped.

Our custom crafted rods can be designed and produced to your individual specifications. Please allow three to four weeks for delivery of special orders or to match your existing rod. Monograms are also available.
